I think my dog may have allergies, as it has many of the signs. Vomiting a lot., Itchy skin, chewing on his paws. My question is how to test for allergies? My guess is that they take a blood sample, but then what? And how expensive it is what is this test? My dog is in food Nutro dry, sensative stomach formula. After looking around, I have learned – they will have blood tests I'm sure, and you have to do a stool too. All this is very expensive. When my German Shepherd had stomach problems, they did blood tests and stool tests and X-rays. All this costs us $ 380. 00 approx. Most veterinarians are very supportive financially, and are just happy that you are trying to take care of your dog, so ask if you can pay half now and half in a week or two. My veterinary office did for me. Oh, and my dog was nothing wrong with it, it seems that just had an upset stomach after all that.

She seems to be losing weight and I think she needs more fat. Diet the vet gave me I have added chicken fat I can not find. So I've been adding corn oil. Any ideas. From what I can say … Ask a butcher. A lot of butchers these days buy their meat already cut, but if you can find one that makes themselves are going to have chicken fat. I think you can pick your own by cooking a whole chicken and chiling it. Then taking the interior. But I never have. But I think it would be better to replace it with animal fat instead of vegetable oil. Corn oil is high in omega 9 and omega 6. Excess omega 9 and 6 in the diet of a dog is going to block the absorption of omega 3 fatty acids, and this can cause deficiencies. I ask your veterinarian. Maybe you could use butter or bacon grease. O coconut oil. At least is a solid at room temperature, such as animal fat. But its still not ideal.

My cat has diabetes and Cushing, and it's time to put it to sleep, I have booked this for Saturday March 14. I asked the vet if you can donate your body for medical research and she said she had never heard of him. Does anyone know if this is possible. I was so happy to find this – Many veterinary schools have a "beloved pet" or "dear" the agency programs. The program name may differ depending on the school, so call your local veterinary school and ask if they have a program where you can donate your animal. More information about the first program, as they may have special requirements for handling the body before the donation.

So many times people ask questions here so that the answer is to take your pet to a veterinarian as soon as possible, if not immediately. A pet is a huge responsibility and can be expensive. Spaying or neutering is a must, annual check ups are a must and if an animal is sick need to see a veterinarian as a child led him to a doctor if he was sick. If you can not afford basic care, then you should not have a pet. Well, I have the answer here. I totally agree .. While none of the questions are simply people who seek a second opinion many of them I just want to scream "ARE YOU dense? …." lol I think I get most is "My dog has just been hit by a car" and "My dog has a huge wound and blood is gushing, what should I do?" lol. I have seen these two differently on several occasions. It seems obvious that you have to take the animal to a hospital as a child would. What do you think these people do with their children? .. That is frightening. I am very careful with these issues because sometimes when the person has already taken his dog and only want to make sure he did the right thing. I just wish I could say that what does not get someone telling them to go blasting right now and such .. Hi, thanks for the opportunity to vent.

I think my cat may be in the early stages of pregnancy. She is in heat and in some way to go. From spitting to try to lift it. She is sleeping a lot. Vomited and cries a lot. But this is still all the cats are coming home. Think you're pregnant? Help Plz. X = D Do you know what I found? You need to take your kitty to the vet for a checkup. They can tell if she is going to be a mom. Cats continue to arrive at your door, even if you have been "captured", so do not think she's fine – it still could be pregnant. I hope she's okay.
