Dog Depression

My backyard is being torn up and now we don't have a fence or a deck. (It's like a 10 foot drop) My dog (wheaten terrier) has been loafing around and seems depressed or fidgety so I try to walk her. How can I get her to be happier with no backyard? This is temporary, but everything is changing. I was happy to learn… Take her on long leashed walks and/or take her to the dog park- maybe play ball with her if she likes it.
