Worms Cat
I just realised yesterday that my cat has. . Well, white string stuff coming out of her butt. Is it butt worms? If so, whats the easiest (and no cost) way to get rid of them? If not, what's it? Thanks a ton. Do you know what I found? There's no such thing as butt worms. Long stringy looking worms in her feces may be roundworms, unfortunately for you, there's no free way to get rid of worms, no matter what type they are. Look closely at the "white stringy stuff" and if it moves its definitely a worm. If the worms are very very small, they're tapeworms. If they're a bit bigger then they're roundworms. Those are the two most common types of worms in cats. A veterinarian will be required to rid the cat of worms. Roundworms can be treated over the counter but this is not advised.
This is our second video in the "sweet tooth kitty" series. The cat in the video is a 3 year old russian blue cat that loves gummi worms (along with many other kinds of candy) the funny thing is though if you try to give her any other color of gummi worm but red she will not touch it. Enjoy.

There is no easy way! VET. NOW.
There is no 'no cost' way to get rid of worms!
She needs to go to a vet and get treatment!
Worms consume any nutrients from anything the carrier eats so your cat won't be getting any from her food, technically, she is starving.
Imagine how uncomfortable it must be for her to have them crawling around inside her intestines and stomach!
Get her to a vet for de-worming as soon as before she becomes very sick. Oh, and depending on what type of worm it is, you could get it too!
Ps: Why is she not up to date with her worming treatments anyway?
I took my kitten to the vet where he started him on a fortnightly treatment program for six weeks.
Take a good look at what is coming out of your cat. If they are worms, it depends on where you live. Here in southern California, the most common options are roundworms (looks kind of like spaghetti) or tapeworms (segments look like little grains or rice that dry up like sesame seeds). If it looks like some kind of string, DO NOT PULL IT! If your cat swallowed some kind of string & it's now coming out of her backend, it can be dangerous to pull it out. Either way, you should take her to the vet today. If it's worms, the vet can tell you what kind of worms & treat. If it's string, the vet can discuss with you the options & potential hazards. Sometimes string passes through with no problem, sometimes it needs to be surgically removed. You should get her seen asap. Also, if it is roundworms, humans can be affected, especially kids who put their hands in their mouth without washing them.
