My dog has REALLY bad diarrhea and when my husband came home from work today she had pooped all over one half of the couch. The couch is a microfiber tan material and it soaked through onto the down blend pillows. . Any suggestions on what to do besides buying a new couch. The couch is just over a year old.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The dog already has an appointment to go to the vet. It's pretty apparent that she needs to be seen. Essentially —

My cat has been having diarrhea on and off for a couple weeks, she is still making it to the litter box but when I clean it out it's apparent she's having issues. Anything I can do to help her out? I do not feed her table food or any tuna or fish or milk. She's been on the same diet for months and is an indoor cat. She's never been out of my apartment in the four months I've had her. She is 8 years old and about 2 lbs overweight but otherwise healthy. Basically… Try a bland diet for a couple of days, as an example chicken and rice, or white fish. (You should also check she is up to date with her worming program. ) Then gradually wean her back onto her normal food, if this doesn't help you may need to notice a vet for antibiotics.

We've been feeding our cats friskies dry food since we've got them a year ago. And we also feed them friskies wet food. Well about 2 months ago we stopped the wet food. Just recently we started them back up on it. Our oldest cat hasn't shown any signs of diarrhea, and both of our cats are indoor cats. Could changing their food like that be the cause of my youngest cats diarrhea problem. Today I found out that… Sometimes changing the food suddenly can cause problems like this, but some of those canned foods really are not good for cats. Some of those Friskies wet foods contains soy products which can cause a cat to get sick. If you get the canned food, make sure it is Turkey/Chicken based only. Usually the fish ones are the ones that contain components to make the cat sick. Otherwise, it might not have anything to do with the food at all. Best make an appointment to see a vet.
