Dog Lethargic
I adopted a Tibetan Spaniel from a rescue, no medical history is known. The lady at the shelter said he was a couch potato. He ate some grass, and has thrown up yellow foam, with no food in it. Last night he became lethargic, and just lays. His ears will twitch as well as his face. His arms and legs will jerk, and he licks his mouth and nose. This is my first dog, so I don't know if this is something tl be worried about. He gets excited when I offer him food, but then just lays back down. Is he okay. Essentially — You dog might have been allergic to the grass or he could have possibly ate something in the grass that has made him ill. The reason he is licking constantly is because he is in pain and there is a chance that something is stuck in gums/teeth. Perhaps take him to the vet to make sure he is alright. I hope everything goes well(:

Cat Behavior
I have a rescued kitty. He's six months old and is getting fixed in the next week or two. This cat is the sweetest thing to me and my little boy, and most of the time to my husband. When my husband sleeps the cat cuddles up to him and most of the time will let my husband pet and love on him, but other times he stractchs and bites. This weekend he latched on and had to be pried off my husband's leg. I have two cats (both rescues) the other cat is female and fixed and does do this. I've never had a cat do this. What could be causing behavior??? Husband is going to get the bite looked at today at the doctor. Cat is going to the vet and getting checked out and fixed. This cat literally had to be pried off my husbands leg, drew blood. His teeth were totally in the calf of the leg He was letting the cat down. The kitten was not socialized when I got him (at about 12-16 weeks) Only does this to my husband, bo one else Husband's leg is healing well. Had slight infection but gone now. I talked to a cat rescue who deals with all types of cat problems and they told me that it sounded like a territorial thing. The cat sees me as his. Please keep answering if you have any other ideas to why though or how to break the cat of this. Well, I have your answer. Sounds like the cat is just playing. My husband likes to play a little rough with our cat and he gets scratched and bit as a result. Have your husband spend a little time each day just petting him, no rough play and the kitten should calm down over time.

Cat Problems
I have heard that dry cat food is bad for your cats health. My cat loves dry cat food and only eats a small amount of the wet cat food. I used to give her dry food in the mornings but now I have started to give her wet cat food as that would be the time when she's the most hungry. This morning she woke me up meowing becuase she was hungry and I fed her one of those small tins of cat food and she only ate half. An hour later she still didn't finish it. I gave her a small pile of dry cat food and she ran straight over and ate it. I don't think it is enough food for her to be eating only one small tin of cat food a day (half in the morning, half at night). She is already small and although her weight is okay, she really doesn't need to be any thinner. What I found out was – Good for you. You're doing the right thing. I went through this myself, and it took me two weeks. First of all, be prepared to waste a bit of money. And to be patient. Buy several different brands of food, and get different varieties of each. Offer a bit of that, and if your cat responds to any, make note of the brand and flavor. It may be that he'll like venison or turkey, or perhaps he'll like any flavor from a certain manufacturer. You are right to switch gradually. I think you could continue what you're doing – offer the dry food once per day – give him 1/2 to 3/4 of what he would usually get. You could even break that into two meals although I don't think that really matters. By reducing the amount of food, your cat still is getting food but will also still be hungry. And hunger might be a great inducer to try new things. You could also try mixing some dry in with the canned. Basically, you're doing the right thing. Just be patient and try other foods too. EDIT: Whoever told you this was on the mark. Don't worry about the uninformed opinions out here. And dry food doesn't clean their teeth; you don't have to worry about that myth either.
